Vaccination UK normally deliver these immunisation programmes during your child’s school day. Due to the closure of schools, changes to opening hours and staggered timetables, we are currently delivering our immunisation sessions differently.

You will be asked to complete a consent form electronically for your child (please click here to access our consent forms **add link) and submit it to the immunisation team by clicking on the ‘submit here’ button at the bottom of the form when you have completed it. Your local school immunisation team will then be in contact with you to book an appointment for your child to come in to a ‘community clinic’ session to see us. These clinics will be held either at your child’s school, or another local community venue that has been assessed as a safe location to deliver immunisations. Please contact your local immunisation team using the ‘Contact Us’ button to find out where your local school immunisation clinic is being held.

It is really important that your child arrives on time to their appointment, as we are working to maintain social distancing, and can only do so effectively if appointments are kept. Your child’s temperature will be taken on arrival, and if they are found to have a temperature, they will be sent home to reschedule their immunisation for another time. Our staff will be wearing appropriate PPE to protect pupils, and we will be asking parents to remain outside of the school or clinic venue to limit the number of people on the premises at any time. In addition, we have extra staff on these sessions to manage the flow of people and ensure the safety of both pupils and staff.

If you have any further queries, please contact your local school immunisation team.
