JabCab Service Supporting Community Vaccination Access
The Vaccination UK JabCab is a mobile vaccination service delivered by Vaccination UK, designed to improve access to essential immunisations across local communities.
By bringing vaccination services directly to schools and community settings, the JabCab helps to reduce barriers such as travel difficulties, time constraints, and accessibility challenges. This approach ensures that children and young people who may otherwise miss scheduled vaccinations are still able to receive timely protection.
The service supports the delivery of a range of routine immunisations in line with national vaccination programmes, working closely with schools, families, and local partners to provide a safe, efficient, and supportive experience for all involved.
Staffed by experienced healthcare professionals, the JabCab is adaptable to the needs of each setting it visits, with a focus on delivering high-quality care in a convenient and familiar environment.
By increasing reach and flexibility, the JabCab plays an important role in supporting public health goals and improving vaccination uptake in harder-to-reach communities. Vaccination UK continues to expand the service across regions to help ensure equitable access to preventative healthcare.
